2) What Askira Does
Askira helps you organize and track the fragrances you wear. With intuitive categorization and detailed logging, you can record the brand, model, and occasion for each fragrance—supporting your personal perfume diary, trends, and rediscovery of past favorites.
3) Information We Collect
We collect information from three sources: (a) information you provide, (b) information we collect automatically, and (c) information collected when you enable optional features.
3.1 Information you provide
- Account and profile information: name, username, email address.
- Customer support content: information you include when contacting support (such as messages and attachments).
3.2 Information we collect automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, app version, and settings reasonably necessary to operate the Services.
- Usage and diagnostics data: feature usage, performance data, and aggregated statistics.
- Crash logs: error reports that help us diagnose and fix issues.
3.3 Location information (optional)
If you allow location access, we may collect and process your location (precise or approximate depending on your device settings and permissions) to support location-related features. You can disable location at any time in your device settings.
3.4 Photos and face-related information (optional)
- We do not perform face recognition and we do not use images to infer biometric identifiers.
- We do not build or store biometric templates.
- If an image processing feature is used, it is performed once for the requested output and related inputs are deleted promptly after processing.
- By default, photos you store in the App are saved locally on your device unless you choose to upload or sync them as part of a feature you enable.
- We do not use your photos for advertising/marketing and we do not use them to train third-party models.
5) How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services (including account creation and login).
- Personalize your experience (such as remembering preferences).
- Improve and develop the Services (including troubleshooting, analytics, and testing).
- Security and fraud prevention; protecting users and the Services.
- Provide customer support and respond to requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
6) AI / Image Processing (Only If You Choose to Use It)
Certain optional features may allow you to upload text or images for processing to generate content or summaries within the App ("Processing Features").
- User control: you fully control whether to upload and whether to generate content.
- Processing location: uploaded text/images are processed on Askira's own servers.
- No third-party sharing for processing inputs/outputs: we do not share your uploaded text/images or generated outputs with any third parties.
- Deletion: processing inputs and outputs are deleted from our servers immediately after processing is completed, except where temporary retention is necessary to deliver the result to you.
- No training/marketing: we do not use your uploads for advertising/marketing, and we do not use them to train third-party models.
8) International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
9) Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate).
- Access controls and least-privilege permissions.
- Regular security reviews and audits.
- Backups and disaster recovery measures.
No security system is perfect. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
10) Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active.
- Account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days, unless law requires longer retention.
- Usage and analytics data: retained for up to 12 months (generally aggregated or de-identified where feasible).
- Support communications: retained for up to 6 months after resolution, unless longer retention is required.
11) Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/ object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can also manage certain data through device settings (for example, location permissions).
12) Children / Age Limitation
The Services are intended for users age 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under applicable minimum age requirements. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
14) Disputes & Arbitration

Unless prohibited by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration. The governing law will be the laws of Askira Team's principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles.
